In style...

Nikki stylized my blog for me, thanks to Sissy's donation. I love it! Thank you very much Sissy.

Mom and Sissy are still pretty sick, so keep a good thought and or pray for them. Josh is home sick today again also. We're all SICKOS here in WA.

Asa and I went to the playground yesterday. The temperature was about 63, sunny. AWESOME! I hate to admit that I'm a bit sore today, from running around and lifting him up the fireman pole(many times). We went to a park I had never been to, and checked it out. As we drove up, Asa said "hmmm, let's try another one Mum". I'm glad that was his decision. It was kind of lame. Are most parks lame anymore??? There is no merry go rounds, see saws, etc. They are all "safe" toys, and not much of that either. I drove to another park that I had seen a few weeks ago. Never been there. Asa I drove up, Asa leaned up as far as he could in the car seat as I parked. He said "this one looks pretty good Mum!" He cracks me up. It was decent, a big climbing aparatus, with big slides. Me, trying to be a good mom, and letting him play with other kids, not interrupting, letting him be social on his own. He was climbing up the slide, the wrong way of course, UP the slide. About half way, he flipped over and fell on his side. I panicked, but held back my gasp. He got up, brushed himself off, tears welling in his eyes. I was worried that he wouldn't go up the slide again, but he told me, "I'm going up again Mum, I'm gonna try not to trip again though". It cracked me up. I was a proud mom, knowing that he had pulled himself together and didn't give up.

Well I'm ready to leave work and head home to my sick family. Can't wait.

I love the look of your blog make-over. Great Park in Vancouver...
not sure what one you went to, however the Chelsea Anderson Memorial Playground, over near the college is great, swings, slides a mock firetruck to climb on ( her Dad is a fireman in our county) My little great nephew loves that park when he comes for a visit.
Hope your mom and Sister are feeling better real soon. Take care of yourself, and I am sorry your honey is ill as well.

Sincerely,
Mother Teresa II

Fun at the park... Cool! All of the parks here are still covered in snow. Most snow we've had in a long time. I'm really hoping the weather continues to stay nice. Love ya!

I LOVE the new look for your blog. It's beautiful.

I love the Asa stories you tell. And it's great that you write them down, so that even when he's older you can go back and remember all the cute things he did or said.

I hope everyone gets well soon!
