Monday's over....

We had so much fun the concert. The weather was perfect and Sting is HOT!! I enjoyed spending some quality time with my man too. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get home after the concert ended. The parking is a nightmare, and next time we will know to take an ice chest full of beer and tail gate after an event. We got that idea from many other's. I got my souvenir key chain and we drank our $8. beers. I can't wait for another concert....and the money to actually go to one:) Thanks to Mom and Sissy for our Police tickets. An early birthday present.

Saturday morning was Asa's first swimming lesson. He liked it, but didn't listen to the instructor very well. He was treading water away from the wall and sunk under water. He pulled himself out of it, coughed and then game me a "thumbs up". After lesson, we went to Sissy's and hung out all day swimming. Asa loves the pool. Last year he went in only a couple of times, it was always too cold, but now he loves it. He is getting really good. His cute little twig legs look like frog legs treading in the water.

Sunday was more of the same. Sunday's always start out pretty good, but then around 12pm, the thought of going back to work sets in. YUCK! SO, I thought I would keep the weekend going by starting my beer consumption around 10AM. I didn't stop until around 6pm. It sure was fun. I never got drunk but was feeling pretty good..mom and sissy drove Asa and I home and I "fell sleep" shortly after. Thank you to Mom and Sissy for driving me and my precious baby home.

Our mini weekend vacation kept on going yesterday. After I got off work (THE HOLE) us girls and Asa did a walk through at Ross, went to Chevy's for lunch al fresco and then off to Sissy's to finish up with a dip in the pool. Whew....what a busy life we lead.

Asa and I HAVE to clean out his room. He has too many toys and books. Last night, he decided to go through his "misc. bin" It has odds and ends, kids meal toys, spinning tops and the like. I put a bin for "kids that don't have toys" and a bin for "keeping". Josh told me over and over...."don't give him a keep bin. He won't get rid of anything. He will put the things he wants aside". I didn't listen. I put both bins out. Asa would hold a toy over the give bin, look at it, turn it over and would kind of panic. He would then throw it in the keep bin. Once, he threw something in the give bin, stopped and pulled it out. He said "oh, that was a mistake, I need to keep that". LOL Needless to say, he got rid of 4 tiny toys. I'm glad that I video taped the whole thing. I was laughing the whole time.

Asa has soccer team pictures done tonight as well as a game. The whole family will be going this time.

Well, I guess a new post is better than none.

Monday is over, my Tuesday is almost over and tomorrow is my Friday! WOOT WOOT! I am glad that you all had a fun time at the concert. My friends and I always tailgate after shows for sometimes up to three hours. Cracking a beer at 10 am...my motto is "Its Five O'Clock Somewhere!" I even have that on a sign that hangs in my office at work! :-)
