Too fun

Here are some photos from yesterday at Cinco De Mayo Festival on the waterfront, and some from today at soccer. I'm so proud of my Asa, he scored 5 goals out of 7 for our team (but who's counting) He has been practicing so much. I'm KIND of getting tired of soccer. He loves it, and just inhales anything soccer. We don't usually have the TV on, but today, before soccer and after soccer, he asked if soccer was on TV. We had soccer on for a few hours today. He is practicing bouncing the ball on his head, and his knee. He's a soccer monster.

Asa didn't like the main stage tent at the festival. This was taken when we first got there. I thought he was going to cry. He warmed up pretty quick after the dancers came on stage. He and Valentina even "danced" on the dance floor with some other kids.

My beautiful Sissy and Valentina

Asa eating some melon that Uncle Norm got for Valentina. The weather was perfect. The day started out drizzly, and then the clouds broke. PERFECT

This picture of Valentina makes me "waff". She's pointing at Asa's root beer, wanting a drink. I sneak in a drink for her here and there without Sissy's knowledge:)

A little boy came up to Asa while we were browsing, and gave him one of these balsam wood airplanes. He really liked it for about 2 minutes.
My Sissy looks so pretty in this picture. You wouldn't guess that she's almost 40. LOL

There was a kids area with a pinata breaking. Each kid got to whack it 5 times. It wouldn't break. After about 10 kids tried, the kid in the back round hit it once and it busted open. There was not only candy, but toys and toothpaste in it. Everything was snatched up, and 5 tubes of toothpaste were left on the ground. I should have taken a picture.
Nastiest....taco...ever. It was thrown out. None of us would eat it. SO SICK!

Valentina at the soccer game. Of course in her cute cheerleader outfit. I love this picture. You can't see it, but she has little goldfish cracker crumbs around her mouth:) My girl just makes me laugh all the time. Asa after he scored one of his goals.

Coach and Asa doing hi-5 after his goal.
When I first saw this picture, my first thought was "who is this 15 year old, and why did I take his picture?" He is looking so big. No longer a toddler. I love him so much. He makes my heart ache with love.

GREAT JOB ROCKETS! Asa's little face in in the middle facing the camera.

Good job BUMBLEBEES! Asa is the littlest player on our team. He's even smaller then the girls.

I was locking doors, getting ready for bed, and I knew that Asa had crawled into our bed. I heard him giggling, and saying "where's Asa?" I walked into the room, and of COURSE I knew where he was. His blanket (mm, mm) was visible for goodness sakes. I moved in on him, to scare him, lifted the pillow and he was SLEEPING!!
Notice the wet drool spot.

He didn't have a nap, played soccer, wrestled with Valentina, shopped at Wal Mart for 1 1/2 hours and didn't go to bed until 9pm. He was beat.
Side note: I threw Asa up in the air yesterday, and I do it sometimes, just for his reaction, because he HATES IT! Valentina love it, and Asa used too when he was little. I finally asked him why he didn't like it. He said that he didn't want to be thrown into space. LOL He watched too much science channel.
