TGIF on Saturday

My work week went really fast, probably because I had long days all week last week. Asa caught Valentina's cold, but nothing severe. We just chilled yesterday, he napped and I actually got to lay out in the sun for about 30 minutes. It's supposed to hit 96 degrees here today, and nice weather to follow for the rest of the weekend. Finally spring has sprung.

Tomorrow is Asa's last spring soccer game. He is on the waiting list for summer league, and will be very dissapointment if there is no room for him. He is just amazing. The other night, I was reading the paper. He was messing around with the soccer ball, and it landed on my lap. I rolled it back to him, and again, it landed in my lap. Now...when soccer is played in the house, the rule is that the ball stay on the ground. I looked up at him, and he was drop kicking the ball! He said "look what I've learned Mum!" He dropped and kicked over and over again, with out missing. He then proceeded to throw the ball up and bounce it off his head! His coordination has really improved and he is so fun to watch. He's so full of wonderment!! LOL

SATURDAY-I was unable to finish my post yesterday.

Last night the fam came to my house for dinner and water fun. Asa had a water hose, and we cleaned off our deck, and had fun getting wet. It was 96 yesterday. Valentina liked it too. They were so much fun to watch. Asa was trying to fit inside a sand bucket to cool off, and Valentina was splashing. She was great, and not afraid of the cold water at all. All of us just laughed and laughed, knowing how much fun it is to have our family complete.

Well, my mind is wandering, and don't feel much like writing this morning. Asa's last game is today, and he told me he is too sick to go. We will get ready anyway and see what happens. Hope you all have a fun weekend, and we will continue to enjoy ours. Today we are heading to Sissy's for some more water fun. Another day of family fun!
