TGIF

Got to Sissy's yesterday after work, and noticed that Asa seemed hot. He was. He had a 100 degree temperature, so made an appointment with the Doctor. He has a cold. Sissy had doctor look at Valentina since we were there together, and Valentina's little ears were infected where her little earrings are. Poor kiddos.

Asa was very lethargic yesterday afternoon and evening. He just asked to be held. It's a bit nice in a way, because I love to rock a bye him, and it's not often he lets me do that. He wouldn't eat, he said that he was feeling punky and tummy hurt. I offered him some strawberries before bedtime, and he said yes, then quickly changed his mind after I showed them to him, and he said that he had a cough in his mouth, and just couldn't do it. I got him an ice water before bed time, he just set it on the counter, and said he didnt have the time to drink it, it was time for bed. As he was passing the bathroom, I said it's time to clean up for bed. He replied "there's no time". He crawled into his little bed all by himself, and told me "I'm all set Mum Mum". He fell asleep before I could even crawl into bed with him.

I'm feeling optimistic about the preschool situation thanks to Mother Theresa II. Thank you Mother Theresa II.

Sissy and I had some alone time while she went with me to a doctors appointment yesterday. What a treat. I miss her. I didn't realize until today, that our relationship has changed since Valentina has come home. Sissy is now a mother, and her whole life has changed, and that has changed our relationship too. I guess we need to make time to be together, and be silly and just be sissys once in a while. I love you Sissy.

We are celebrating uncle Norms birthday tomorrow with a fun dinner all together in the city, and Josh will actually be able to go!!! YIPPEE!!! So happy to be blessed with family and love. Have a great weekend everybody!!!
