TGIF!

We made it peeps.

Asa had a great time at soccer practice and only 3 more games until end of summer season. I will be relieved. It's been so stressful in more ways than one. Asa is still having fun though. I keep telling myself that is all that matters.

Here are some pictures from the last week and a half.

Last Wednesday when we got to the cabin. It's a little motorized Diego quad. It's getting small for Asa, but we managed to get both of them on it. They LOVED riding together. They are so good together. These crack me up. It looks like Valentina is on some sort of carnival ride with her eyes closed.
I don't know if there is anything cuter than this.
Again....adorable.
Hot cocoa the next morning.
Matching PJ's thanks to Sissy.
BREWFEST!!! MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY! I missed it last year because I had broken my toe:)
Break time. Drinking beer is exhausting.
Time to refill.

After I got off work yesterday, I picked up Vali and we ran a few errands. We went home and packed up a picnic lunch and went to the park. It was our first picnic. I figured they wouldn't even eat, they would just want to play, but they were both hungry, ate almost the entire basket of food and then we played. It was great.
Sissy dressed them in matching outfits. The cashier at the store said that my kids were so cute, and that Valentina should be in a "cutest baby contest". She also noticed that they were dressed a like. They are pretty cute.
Valentina kind of hogged the crackers. She loves cheese flavored crackers.
Valentina is such a dare devil. She copies everything Asa does. She was so tired, she kept lumbering back to the picnic blanket, would lay flat on her tummy with her limbs sprawled out...but would just take a minute break, and then catch up with Asa again.
They slid down the slide together. That could have been disastrous.

Swinging. Asa still hasn't gotten the hang of swinging in a big kid swing. You can't see it, but Mt. St. Helens is in the back round.
Below:
Valentina looking so cute in her pretty dress, backing up on the steps to the slide. She had changed her mind about going down the slide with out Asa.
Out to dinner with Daddy.
Someones pretty tired.
I was holding him up by his stomach on my feet. He was giggling. I love this picture. It is him experiencing pure joy.

Tomorrow our whole family is going to Fiesta Mexicana. There will be a low rider competition and Asa is looking forward to that. There is also a soccer tournament, which I haven't mentioned to him yet, as that is probably all he will want to do. It is the first year to experience it with our little Valentina. I can't wait to see them both dancing to Mariachi with all the other kids.
A holla to Drunk Cousin Caroline and Aunt Margo. I miss you both and anxiously await an upcoming visit. If we were playing tag, you are "it".
SHAKE N' BAKE!

The way Cameo always dresses Valentina reminds me of little girls back when my mom was a little girl. Always dresses and always a big bow in the hair. She's very 1940's looking! So cute!
I love reading your blog. I wish you'd post more often. It's fun to read the cute stuff that Asa says to you!
Love you guys!

I am glad you got to go to Brewfest this year. I know you were BUMMED last year not being able to go.
