Oh the memories

I talked to Sissy today and she said that she had done something horrible. She had looked at pictures from her honeymoon (our Mayan vacation). We all ache to go back. Asa was Vali's age when we went and I would love to see her running on the beach with Asa in that soft powdery sugar sand. Needless to say, I looked at the pictures too. What fun memories we have from that vacation of a lifetime. Here are some vintage photos from Asa on that vacation. They made me smile!
This was my favorite outfit for him at the time. I totally forgot about his cute little Speedo sandals that cost a fortune. There were long outdoor corridors from our room to the restaurants and I would let Asa run as far as he could as long as I could see him.

This picture is priceless. Nerdy, but priceless. Sissy had put a tattoo on his arm, so he looks a bit nerd/punk:) Again, another outfit that cost a fortune. How I love my little boy. I'm so glad that we have these family memories, and we have many more to come.

Speaking of nerd. Joshua is going to kill me for this one, but he is aware that it was possible blogging material. Since meeting Joshua, instead of answering to each other "yes" we say "affirmative". I know....geek. Well, now Joshua has retired "affirmative" for "acknowledged". LOL WE ARE SUCH DORKS and sure that I have completely embarrassed myself.

Running errands yesterday Asa was asking Joshua and I when our birthdays were. He knows his birthday, but didn't know the year, so he asked. I told him 2004. He said "whoa....that's a lot of years".

After I get off work, I'm picking up my angels and taking them to a park for a picnic and fun. Tonight is soccer practice too. That usually means Burger King afterwards. Asa could eat crown shaped chicken nuggets every day if I let him. He usually eats 10. ((shudder)). So sick.

Only one more night to go until blessed Friday.

How precious are those memories! I love fun memories of past trips.

I say affirmative too on occasion.

Wait a minute? Burger King has crown shaped chicken nuggets? For real? I havent been there in ages, but that might warrant a trip.

OMG!!!!! Those were my two favorite too!!!! That first shirt was from Gymboree, I'm almost positive. Nope, it was The Children's Place. I can almost guarantee it. Shit, now I'm going to have to research it and find out for sure. Abago.... Asa was looking at them with me too, then V had to get in on the action. It was pretty fun this morning to have both kids on my lap looking at those pictures. The only thing that could be better would be TAKING those pictures with our kids!
