TGIF!

SO glad that's it's Friday. I've had a longer than usual work week, and happy that it's over.

Mom and her sisters are on their way to visit Grandma up north for Mother's Day weekend. I'm sure that they are laughing and having a great time. I'm glad that my aunts could be with Mom. Visiting Grandma with her sisters will make it even more special. Then Sunday we will celebrate Mom's day all together. There will be about 13 of us going to dinner. None of us Mom's wanted to cook. Margarita's will be had, and fun will follow.

I am crafting tonight after Asa goes to sleep. I have many projects to get done before the weekend , including cleaning my house. (Tana, I ended up sitting on my butt:) Crafting will come first. I can only do it after Asa goes to bed, because once he sees me with scissors and paper? OH NO!! Then we spend 3 hours just cutting paper and putting glue on it. Massive amounts of glue. I always plan on recycling his "art"work, but end up saving it, thinking that someday I'll be able to find a way to utilize banker boxes full of cut up paper with glue on it. Any ideas?

Tomorrow is soccer Saturday. We usually have a very large cheering section, however with Mom gone, Sissy, Uncle Norm and Valentina at Grama's, and Joshua sleeping after work, and possibly Papa going to work, it will just be my little man and me. After that, Joshua should be awake, and we plan on going to see Speed Racer thanks to Grama. Asa has seen the trailers for it a couple of times. Last night, we laid in bed to watch Survivor. The trailer came on, he said "Mum, I REALLY want to see SPEED RACER!" I explained to him how big the screen is at a theatre and how it would be really loud, but that we would be there with him, and did he really want to go? He answered "Yes, I want to go. It would be really cool". Of COURSE we have to go now. He thinks it would be cool.

I'm looking forward to picking up my kiddo after work, cracking open a Bud Light, and working on the back deck. HOPING HOPING for a sunny warm weekend.
