Cold

Thanks to my dear sweet Valentina for giving her cold to Asa, who in turn gave it to me. It's bound to happen, because we all practically live together. I'm so glad that Valentina, Asa and Sissy are feeling a bit better, but Mom and I have the worst of it right now:( Poor us. If this is the worst thing in our life right now...our lives are pretty good.

I am currently looking for a part time job, doing administrative work, or something close. If anyone lives in SW Washington, and knows of anything...please let me know. There isn't a lot of jobs in the paper or online right now, and I really am done with my work place that I'm in now. Time to move on.

Asa has been a bit clingy with me. REALLY CLINGY! I went to Sissy's yesterday and we hung outside a bit. Anytime I went in the house, Asa would come running from where ever he was, and clung to my leg. TO GET A GLASS OF LEMONADE! We also went to Lowes, and I had to hold his hand the entire time. That was a bit difficult since we had to walk through the entire store with a sliding glass screen door. How's that for multi tasking? Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else going through this? He has started to not want to spend the night with BeyaPapa either. I bribed him last night with candy....no go. I even offered him a dollar...no go. He told me he would rather be hungry than go. HE'S 3! ay ay ay

Back to Lowes. We were standing and looking at the light fixtures and ceiling fans. We were talking and asking each other which ones we liked best. We don't have the same taste. A woman stood next to us, also looking at the lights. Asa started telling her which ones were his favorite and went on and on, going from one light to the other. As we were leaving, he turned to her and said "be careful, they are really expensive".

Vacation starts in 2 weeks from this Thursday. We are renting a mini van, so it will be SOOOO comfortable for the 14 hour drive and will be a bit of a vacation in itself. I LOVE mini vans. 5 years ago, the thought would have made me throw up a little in my mouth. It's true, babies do change everything.

I went shopping and got my new wardrobe for California, including a new pair of shoes. I am SET!! Poor sissy is still up in the air about her wardrobe. It's quite a dilemma as it's been 106 degrees where we are going. Our family is getting pretty excited. Now...we just need the money to hurry up and grow on the tree so we can go. It better happen soon!

I am having a yard sale on Saturday. I have said this for 3 years. I'm not joking when I say I have a garage full of junk to get rid of. I am going to have to everything ready by myself since Josh will be working. I am also not kidding you that Josh has saved every box from electronics purchases for the last 10 years. Just empty boxes. Empty. Wish I could sell those. I just look at them, and my blood pressure rises, and I don't have high blood pressure.

Have great day!

Colds suck. Hope you feel better. Good luck with the job search, I am starting to think I need a change as well. Your upcoming trip sounds great!

Trina email me about your job search and I will give you some info. My email appears as Cameo has emailed me before.
Do you think you can pass a typing test at 50 words per minute?

Hugs,

Mother Teresa II

I'm sorry you and Aunt Kathy aren't feeling well. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Good luck with the job search.

Sorry, but I'm not any help with the clingy issue. The only time Brooklyn was clingy was after Rilee was born. But now she would spend every night at Grandma and Grandpa's if I let her. Hope things get better soon. Love you!

I hope you feel better soon! Colds SUCK, especially in Spring/Summer.

I will keep you in my prayers for a new job. I don't think any of the offices I used to manage are looking for PT, but I'll check.
