Weekend update

Friday night was uneventful.

Saturday was a blast. Asa's soccer game was in the morning, and he scored 3 goals. YEA ASA! He just loves playing soccer, and being on a team. After that, Sissy treated us to Red Robin for lunch (YES! WE ATE OUT AGAIN!) Uncle Norm got to go this time, and we had such a nice lunch, and just hanging out together. Then we went to Sissy's and hung out in the sunshine and visited and watched the kids play.

Sunday, Mom, Sissy, Valentina and I went and did a bit of shoe/clothes shopping for our upcoming vacation in June. Again, it was nice spending time together. It was a treat for me, as Josh watched Asa while I shopped. We hung out at Sissy's later in the afternoon, and I had a couple of Margaritas. YUM! Mom watched Asa overnight, and Josh and I had some quality tv time.

Yesterday, we went out to lunch AGAIN! TGIFridays. YUM, I hadn't been there for probably over a year, and it was a treat. Josh and I got our food for free, as the server messed up and we didn't get our food as ordered.

Today I have physical therapy on my neck again, and then soccer practice is tonight. Asa is excited. Every day he asks if it's soccer day. He has been so independent lately. When he has to go potty (even poo) he tells me to leave the "baffwoom" that he can do it by himself. I peek in every so often, and he catches me, and again tells me to "weave". The other night, I asked him to sit next to me so I could read him a new library book that we had gotten. He sat next to me, I started to read, and he looked at me and said, "actually, I'd rather play soccer mum". He left me. I was crushed. He has never denied a book reading. I guess this is bound to happen. Pretty soon he's going to leave me for some Miley Cyrus hooker (ANDREA WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?) and I'll be devastated.

THIS was a boring post.

I LOVE it when you write how Asa talks. I can just hear him. I had a lovely day with him today. I love our Asa, just like you love our Valentina.

Oh, potty training... I will have to take my tips from you...I do not look forward to it.

I love that he is becoming "private" that is so funny... I can picture him talking.. his little face in pics is so expressive.

He just melts my heart, and I bet yours too...

Keep those hookers away from our cutie boys!
