Sissy day

I had such a fun day with Sissy yesterday. She had a doctors appointment, and we pretty much always go together for our appointments. Asa loves going to his doctor (which is our whole families doctor) The kids were jabber jaws the whole time, so Sissy and I kept laughing, because them talking so loud, and the doctor trying to talk to sissy was a bit difficult. Asa wrote all over the doctors sheet that he was keeping notes on, going on and on about submarine history stories (that he learns from the History Channel) ...and Vali kept handing Dr the wet wipes and then squealing when he would take them from her and hand them back to her. Sissy said she wished that we could have videotaped the whole thing. We got through it.

Before that, the 4 of us went to the craft store. Asa and I do our own thing while Sissy and Vali shop. Pretty much the whole visit to the store, we hear Vali just squealing and talking up a storm, and Asa keeps stopping in his tracks whispering "mum....shhhh...I hear Vali" He probably said that 15 times. When we would run into Sissy and Vali, Vali would just yell and squeal (in a good way) Poor Sissy, Vali seriously has rubber arms. They extend sooooo far, and she grabs EVERYTHING. The ribbon aisle should be off limits. She just doesn't take 1 spool, she just goes through like a tornado. It happens so fast, there is no way to stop. Asa had found a cool sound book, and he was pushing buttons, then he just rips the protective plastic off it and starts reading the book. Great, we have just purchased a $15.00 book.

After getting home, we played soccer. Now, playing soccer with a 3 year old is quite the challenge (God bless the patient coach of his team). NOW, Asa thinks he's a pro and know the rules better than I do. Funny thing, when the ball goes out of bounds, he says out of bounce. I told him that wasn't right it was "bounds". He just looked up and me and said, "no mum, it's really out of bounce" I was puzzled, as he thinks I know everything. I guess he is growing up.

Mom and Papa are still in Goldendale, and it's about time they come home to us.

I was telling Asa about our upcoming vacation to California in June. He said "Oh good, I'll get to visit my granddaughters in California" LOL

We'll I'm at work, and should be doing some of that while I'm here:) It's another beautiful day today! That always helps my mood, and things couldn't be better.
