Last night was Asa's first soccer practice. He had 9 cheerleaders. I believe he had the biggest entourage. 3 year old soccer is the quite possible the funniest thing ever. We have LOTS of practice to do at home. He was beat by the time we got home, and he told me "don't change me, I just want to sleep right here and not move". I have been laughing to myself all morning, remembering how funny the kids were last night...and ALSO about how Valentina literally looked like and angel. She was wearing a cream fur coat with matching accessories. It was quite a contrast to everyone else there. She is so beautiful. Thank you all for coming. Sissy has video, which I hope she will have time to post.
Josh and I are going on a date tonight. I'm very intrigued, as it is his turn to decide what to do. I told him staying home and me cooking is not an option. That's his fave. Mom will be babysitting for us. I'm looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow. Mom is the best. She doesn't get to sleep in either, as she watches Asa every morning so I know that she does it out of love for me. I know she doesn't do it for the MONEY!!! HAHAHAHA
Was anyone else bummed that Survivor and Lost wasn't on last night?????
Cousins from Alaska are here, and Asa has enjoyed it so much. The girls are so good to him. They treated him to a shopping spree at Target yesterday, and don't seem to get tired of entertaining him. They will be missed when they leave today. Asa whined all the way (the 3 minute ride) to Beya's this morning that he wants to go to Alaska to see Amanda and Christina. He goes on and on, and then says " Mum, is it too expensive????" YES ASA, EVERYTHING IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!!
My mood is better. I guess it's the weekend, it should be:) It's actually snowing right now! It looks so pretty, but I'm pretty sure it won't be sticking. It would be kind of fun to be snowed in for the weekend though. I have such fond memories of being little, living in Goldendale, and having it snow, several feet at a time. We would be snowed in, and not be able to go anywhere for days at a time. It would be so quiet and peaceful. Mom , Papa, Grandma and Grandpa would always make it fun for us. They would pull us behind a truck in an inner tube for hours at a time. I know now it wasn't as much fun for them, but they wanted us to have fun because they loved us so much. How I wish that I could let my Grandparents know how much I appreciated all of their love, their time, and their support they showed to us grand kids growing up. All I can do now, is show my parents and family how much they mean to me, and that I never take them for granted. I am so lucky to have a loving family.
Oh, Sissy and I got tickets yesterday to see Kanye West, Rhianna and N.E.R.D on June 3. Aren't we spoiled??? NO GUYS ALLOWED! Sissy said she's going to go a bit crazy and might have 1 beer. We sissy's know how to PArrrrrTaaayyyy.
Has anyone been to Legoland before? That may be an option for our June trip to California. I would like your opinions.
Well, I have a busy afternoon after work today. It's Friday cleaning, and I have to get myself looking HOT HOT HOT for my man. That's means dyeing my hair, finishing my makeup with mascara, and wearing ballet flats instead of Converse. Let the transformation begin.
Happy weekend to you all! SHAKE N BAKE!

KANYE WEST!!!!!!! KANYE!!!!!! Forever, ever? ever ever? ever ever? I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!! I might even go crazy and have TWO beers!!!! I hope it's nice and we can have appetizers and drinks outside beforehand, like INXS and maybe we'll run into Alex again and get floor tickets! Althought the tix we got are pretty kickass! Magic Man, now you see him (hand wave), now you don't.
In my opinion, Legoland is not all that fun. If your just looking for little rides that the kids can ride, then this might be the place, but it seems lonely though, like there is not fun to it...no mickey and minnie if you know what I mean. You would all have more fun at Sea World in my opinion even though there are not much rides there.
I'm so glad you are feeling better. The concert sound so fun! I've never been to one so be sure and have lots of fun for me.
Ooh and date night! I haven't been on a date with my hubby in a while. And you will have no problem looking gorgeous! Love you!
It broke my heart as well. The faces of those kids were just haunting. I am *so* glad as well to see them looking happier, and it is such a great feeling knowing that when everyone comes together with just a small donation, it all adds up and can make a world of difference to them.
Hello Ms. Trina!! Wow date night you lucky girl you, enjoy. Glad you are feeling better, did you give yourself a hug from me?
Legoland, nope but Downtown Disney has a wonderful Legoland store across from the Rain forest Cafe or close by to it, and they had A life size Darth Vader and a giraffe and an airplane a skyscraper and so and so on all there to be seen, then you can do fun stuff for the lttle ones, like Goofys Restaurant, and the Disneyland hotel, and and the movie adventure park is close by you can go there and they have Nickoleon plaza for the little ones, oh so fun, and downtown Disney has nice Restaurants, ESPN which has tons of fun stuff, you have California Adventure Park, where they have the Muppets and the bugs life section, so many things and all within walking distance and the Movie Park use to have a free shuttle right on the Blvd outside of Disneyland.. alot for the little ones and a ton for the adults, including open space bars on the Plazas in Downtown Disney. Legoland is from what we were told Boring, I think there is a few churro's stands in the park area..
Glad soccer was such a fun event, please journal it in his baby book or scrap book as it is fun to watch the spouses read them when they are old enough to marry, my middle sons wife rec'd his book when they were expecting their first child I gave it to her at a family reunion, at disneyland and we told her we were giving her, his "Him" book, she said it was the funniest thing she ever rec'd.
Well hugs to you all, Happy weekend.
