We had a fun family Saturday night with our little Asa. We went to the video store (Asa's first trip to one) and rented Ratatouille, and a couple for daddy and me to watch. Asa, never being in a video store, just stopped and looked around, and then IMMEDIATELY started pulling movies off the shelves for everyone in our family. "this one is for Mum Mum, this one is for Uncle Norm" etc. .. As soon as I would get them all put away, he was at the candy, pulling them off the counters....He was so fast. I litterally felt like a was following a tornado, and cleaning up the aftermath. Walking to the car after renting our movies, Asa said "that was kinda fun".
Sunday morning:
Asa slept in a bit, until about 8am. We had our coffee (his morning choco milk is "coffee") and played around. He then ran into his room, and shut the door. That means poo time. I gave him a few minutes and opened his door. He was standing there, looking at me with a bottle of baby powder. My eyes did not divert from his strained looking face, as I was afraid to look around the room and see destruction. Baby powder everywhere. He has bins of different toys thoughout his room, ei. planes in one bin, cars in another, misc. in another etc....powder over everything, including the floor. It was sooo slippery. He had really gone to town. I just sort of slumped seeing the devastation and had no idea how to clean this up. Mind you, I am still just looking at Asa's stunned face and he has not moved. He keeps looking up at me, not sure when my reaction is going to be. I sighed and told him I couldn't believe my eyes. He laughed and said that I was silly. It was pretty overwhelming to me, but Josh came to my rescue and shop vac'd everything. He put a screen over the sucker part and it worked perfectly! No toys were lost.
Mom and papa came over for a while yesterday. I was having a rough day emotionally, and it was nice to have them over and join me in watching Asa's escapades. A commercial for a home preganacy test came on the tv, and the "stick" was being shown. Asa turned to me and said, look mom, it's a torpedo! He makes me laugh all the time.
We went to sissy's later in the evening, and visted with her and Valentina. Valentina was of course so happy to see me, and we got to hang out and play. Asa ran into another room and shut the door (poo for the 4th time that day. when we travel, he refrains from pooing, so it had been 3 days, and he made up for it yesterday) . WHEW, it STUNK!! turns out not only was Asa poopy, Valentina was too. I laid Asa on the couch to change his diaper, and Valentina crawled over to me and lifted herself up on my leg. Uncle norm walked by and said that Valentina was waiting in line to get changed too. I was surrounded in grossness. After Asa got done, I changed Valentina too. Whew! 2 poopys in a big house still smell up the place. I felt quite accomplished after that.
I hope all have enjoyed my poo stories.

I've only been to your site a few times honestly, but will have to check back in more often. These stories are fun to read.
