I'M OUTTA HERE!

Asa and I and sissy and Valentina went and did a bit of shopping yesterday. It's always fun to spend time together. Valentina and Asa are such good patient shoppers.
Asa story to follow:
After shopping with sissy and Valentina, Asa and I decided to go to the mall. I had a sweater to return and such good sales going on. Asa whined to go to the "Mickey Mouse Store" (Disney store). I promised to take him after I did my shopping. I took him out of the stoller to browse at the Disney store. He wanted everything that had to do with Pirates of the Carribbean. He's never seen the movie or anything, but he's really into ships and subs and boats. He kept telling me he wanted this remote control Pirates of the Carribbean ship set. NOT AGE APPROPRIATE. He is still mumbling how much he wants it as he is browsing. As Asa is looking at some various toys near the checkout, a boy taller than asa, but near his age started browsing too. The boy picked up a stuffed T rex boy, and showed it to Asa and boy said "I like T Rex's" Asa replied, "I like ships". Boy bent down and litterally got into Asa's face and screamed "I LIKE T REX"S!!" Asa raised his voice abit, and said "I LIKE SHIPS!! I"M ANGRY, I"M OUTTA HERE!" Asa then put BOTH his hands on his hips and said "I'm going mom, that's a mean boy, we're leaving". I followed him out of the store with a smirk on my face. He did mumble about that for a while, with his hands still on his hips.

I love this story. Kudos to you mama, your doing a good job. It is really obvious when our kiddos are given these dilemas, and they shine right through.

So CUTE!!! I'm so glad that Asa doesn't let others influence him and make his mind up for him. That is a very good and strong trait! It will benefit him in his teen years! GREAT JOB ASA!!!
Love Auntie Lori
