My Valentina

Sissy and Mom got to GC just fine. The got Valentina yesterday (3 hours late) so sissy was so anxious. I saw them via web cam. Valentina is so beautiful and already a mama's girl. Valetina puts her arms out and fusses to sissy if Mom pretends to take her. As soon as mom gives her back, Valentina stops and just gazes at her mama. It is too cute. I'm so happy for sissy that Valetina has taken to her so quickly. They really need this time to be together and fall in love with each other. I love my Valetina so much. Asa saw Valentina on the web cam and Valetina was playing with a "phone" toy. Asa said "I see you Valentina, playing with your toys!" It was pretty cute. Only 6 more days until they come home for good!!! YIPPEE

Tomorrow Grama Sandi is coming over to see little Valentina. I'm glad that we can share this together. I'm so in love with my family:)

Papa has been over everday (a few times a day!) to visit with Asa and myself. He is missing mom. He told me yesterday he just can't eat very much because she isn't here. Papa has been such a help, as it gives me time to do selfish stuff for myself. It has been an adjustment not working and being with Asa 24/7. I love him so much, but do miss my time working and getting away. Not so much the working part, but getting away. Asa has really been clingy and cuddly, which I love. He just plops on my lap or hugs me out of the blue and tells me I'm his best friend, and he loves me. it just melts my heart, and then I feel guilty for wanting to work a bit. Isnt' that what motherhood is though???? feeling guilty?? LOL

I have been online for a couple of hours, hoping that sissy will video call me so we can see our baby, but to no avail. They must be busy taking care of our baby. Sissy! CALL!
