DONE WITH NAPS

Well, Asa is finally done with naps in the afternoon. It wasn't worth the fight for an hour, to have him sleep for an hour. I am getting him ready for bed around 7pm now, and he finally fall's asleep around 8pm, which is nice, as then I have my evening to myself, and to have a bit of quiet time with Josh. It's been 2 nights in a row now. Last night he was so tired, he was asking me if it was bed time yet. He didn't even really want me to read to him. poor guy, just too tired. He's adjusting to no naps too.

Josh is sick with a cold, but hopefully feeling better today and I'm hoping that I don't get it. Asa has been sick with something for about a week now, but it doesn't seem to affect him that much. He's not complaining anyway.

Mama and Papa left for California today. They will be working at aunt Margo's but I hope that they have a bit of fun too. I will miss them so much, but hope they enjoy being together. They live their life for us, but they need some alone time I think.

Work is going good lately, thank God. I haven't been stressed out at all, I"m sure being on the right meds is working too.

Sissy and I are on our own this week, and we are making plans for lunches and having Asa's 3 year pictures done at JC Penny's this week. I hope that we are able to get a few shots without him getting too anxious. It will be an adventure for sure.

It is raining, raining, raining now. It will be like this for the entire week, and the weatherman says part of next week too. And so the winter begins. Mount hood actually got snow this weekend! I'm hoping that this is the year that Josh and I will be able to go skiing. It has been 4 years now. I am a bit anxious about skiing since breaking my toe. I can't imagine breaking an ankle or a leg. I'm not the best skiier, but can handle some blue runs.

Josh has ANOTHER intervew tomorrow at 3:30. I hope that means it's good news. Good greif it's taking foever. This is the 3rd week since his first interview. 1 every week. IF he has the job, he will be working graveyard, 12 hours nights. I am not too worried about being alone at night. We don't live in the best neighborhood, but I have faith that God will take care of us.

I can't believe it's already after 10am. I get to go home at 12 and looking forward to seeing my little man. Josh isn't working today either, so we will have a fun family day. Asa is getting pretty good at hitting balls with his bat. He used to just him them pretty softly right to us, now he is swinging quite wildly and the balls are going into the hall and the kitchen!! YIKERS! He lifts his arms and says YEAH I GOT A HOMERUN!!!! Always making me laugh.... We are so blessed.....

Wow, no naps? Of course, some days Brooklyn doesn't always get a nap. We have a totally weird schedule. The girls go to bed between 9-9:30 and they don't wake up until 9 or later in the morning. Its nice for me because I am not a morning person. Hope you have fun skiing. Love you.
