Blessings Galore

What a great week it has been. Good news from sissy on Valentina, and hopefully we'll have her here quicker than anticipated. I can't wait to see my niece. I am HOPING to go for part of the time on the pick up trip, but all depends on so many variables. That is the plan anyway, I guess I better let Josh know!

Josh started his new job on Monday, just for training 8am-5pm, so it's been nice to have him in the evenings. He starts his regular shift 6pm-6am Saturday evening. I am nervous about being home alone in the evening with Asa. Please pray and keep good thoughts for us. I have been so appreciative of Josh lately, because I know I won't see him often, which is opposite of what it has been. I rely on him for so much emotional support and a bit scared that I won't see him often. BUT THE MONEY WILL BE HELPFUL!! WOO HOO

Yesterday Mom and Papa kidnapped Asa and took him to Goldendale. He was having a great time. He didn't even have time to say good night to me last night. He is a very busy boy. Poor mom is exhausted from having him for a couple of days. This week of my working all day is having a toll on ALL of us. I have been lucky and been going home a bit early everyday with my boss' blessing.

Yesterday I got to visit with sissy for a couple of hours, sans Asa. It was kind of bizarre not having him to entertain us. I did enjoy hanging with my sissy on an adult level though. We just watched some tv and ate brownies. Lucky for me she has been "nesting" and baking all weekend and so far for the week.

Asa comes home late this afternoon, so I think that sissy and I are going to eat, and then to IKEA. She has never been, and will be first time for me at the new store in Portland. Then off to tv land to watch the world series, GO ROCKIES! and Survivor. What a happy day.
