Bagina bagina bagina...

Tuesday, Asa was on fire. He was cracking jokes, pretending he was doing stand up comedy and he kept me laughing all afternoon. I think he had to use his imagination to get my attention that day since I was glued to the TV that day, watching the inauguration.

Joshua got Asa ready for bed, and then I decided to lay in bed with Asa. He told me that he wanted to hear stories of when he was a baby. I told him a few, and then out of the blue, he said "Mum, I came out of your bagina....and then daddy came out of your bagina after that". I kind of chuckled and said "no, sweetie, daddy isn't my son". Asa thought for a second and said "where did daddy grow inside of?" I told him Grandma Eleanor. Then he laughed. "mum, I really hope that the baby comes out your butt, so the hospital doesn't have to cut open your beautiful tummy". I told him that I hoped that too. Then he said "BAGINA BAGINA BAGINA BAGINA...I COULD SAY THAT WORD ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT!" I thought to myself...I certainly hope that you don't say that word and embarrass me at some opportune time.

While we were watching American Idol last night, of course, one of the singers was terrible. Asa laughed out loud and said "well...that's something you don't see everyday". We cracked up.

On Monday afternoon, Mom, Papa, Sissy and Vali came over to our house for Papa's birthday dinner. They had picked up KFC and we had a nice family dinner, sans Norm. I love it when we are all together. Valentina always makes everything better. She is such a cutie.

Asa and I still aren't bathed and it's nearly noon. Oy vey....

I guess we're keepin' it cool.

Brooklyn has been very intrested in learning how her new sister is going to get out of my tummy. We actually showed her the video of her birth. She wasn't horrified in the least. We told that is how Jesus made so the babies can come out. At least she hasn't asked me yet how the babies get in there. How have you been feeling? Love you all!

OH man, I am thinking of all the other questions Asa will have. Brace yourself. He is so much fun.

I'm SOOOOO behind on my blogs. Congratulations on the pregnancy. I'm very much looking forward to all of Asa's insight during this time. I'm sure it's going to be very entertaining. :)
