Mama and Papa

My parents 40th wedding anniversary is today. I am so blessed to have happily married parents that respect each other and love each other deeply. They are an inspiration to me every day and I want to be like them when I grow up. They have fun together and still get annoyed at each other...living part time in a small trailer is no easy feat...no place to escape and be alone, but they make it work. They had spent most of their life working and earning money together and we were able to watch that and see that family is the most important thing in the world. We all make it work and it hasn't been easy. We fight, make up and will fight again, but it all brings us closer and I thank God everyday that we can make it through anything. Thank you Mom for letting us speak our mind and respect our decisions no matter what the outcome....no matter what mistakes we have made, you love us and care for us. Thank you both for making me a better mother and daughter....Papa, you have taught me great work ethic and you continuously make me laugh and I love your sense of humor....even though you disappear when you see me crying, I know that it's because you love me and don't like to see me hurt. You taught me to enjoy sports and love to watch football, baseball and boxing with you. I love to take road trips with you both and I love it when you stop by unannounced to visit. You are such a help to our little family and Joshua and I learn from you both every day. Thank God that we live nearby and are able to share ALL of our experiences with each other. You couldn't be any better grandparents and our kids are so lucky to have you so close in their lives. They will always have memories of their Beya and Papa. Thank you for sticking it out for 40 years thought the good times and bad....it has been worth it to your children and grandchildren. Happy Anniversary!
