My Addictions:

1:) Coffee- I have recently switched to decaf. It wasn't that hard and I was actually going to try to stop coffee altogether, but I enjoy the smell and taste so much, that I decided to go decaf. Going off the caffeine has lowered my stress and anxiety level a bit, so as Martha would say...it's a good thing. I enjoy buying different coffees, I enjoy trying new creamers, I love making coffee in my noisy 20 year old pot that I got from my Grandma. It's louder than a washing machine, but it is a constant reminder of my Grandma.

2.) TV via DVR- I really don't know how I watched TV before this handy device. I could sit in front of the tube for days at a time, to only get up to relieve myself and eat. No problems. Movies not so much, just TV. I love reality TV. Survivor, The Amazing Race, Project Runway, Top Chef, Top Design, Beauty and the Geek, Nip/Tuck, Law and Order, Hero's and pretty much all prime time on PBS. And the list goes on. With DVR, there is always something that I want to watch. I don't start watching TV until Asa goes to bed since most of the shows I watch are not age appropriate which is a bummer because I only have a couple of hours to watch, but with a DVR, I can skip through the commercials and watch about 4 shows in 1/2 the time. I also like to watch pretty much any sport on TV too, but I don't DVR that because it's better live.

3.) Going out to lunch- 2 weeks ago Joshua and I sat down and went over our budget. Since we are in the red most of the time, I realized that my lunches out would have to cease. It is very unfortunate. I love to try new places to dine and just enjoy being waited on.

4.) Facebook- OK, this is hard to admit. I have a problem. I can't even open the window, as it gets me in trouble. I had given it up cold turkey, but have relapsed a few times. There is a game application called Bubble Town. Don't look it up, it is an evil time waster. At one point, I spent 5.5 hours playing it. That is when I quit...the first time. I have given myself a 1 1/2 hour maximum twice a week and it seems to be working. I get a flip flopping feeling in my stomach and hurry and get my house work done when I know it's my time to play. Pretty disgusting huh? I'm embarrassed just writing about it, but it is a clear addiction of mine.

5.) Beer- You didn't see that one coming did ya! I love microbrews and love sampling different ones. I love seasonal beers, and I also like the Bud Light in the summer time. So cool and refreshing. I read brew magazines and will always be up for a brew festival where we can socialize with other beer aficionado. I guess it's more of a passion than an addiction. I don't normally drink more than 2 micros, but if it is special occasion ( getting off work, getting my house clean, getting the mail or the start of prime time TV) I might finish off the micro brew with a Bud Light.

There you have it. My addictions.

I am tagging anyone who wants to join in on the fun.

Thank you Jilli for the Fabulous Blog Award. I want to thank my family and God. I couldn't do it with out them and for them believing in me, encouraging me to blog about willy nilly.

You are not alone Trina in the decaf, I switched in June after I found out my blood pressure was high. Even tho' I lowered it again pretty quickly I haven't gone back to regular coffee.

I have to know have you tried any Canadian beer? And if so what!

I would think the DVR is a lifesaver with the little ones. We had the video recorder when our kids were young but it just isn't the same.
