TGIF-Vacation edition

I am on vacation for 9 days starting today at 11. It couldn't come at a better time as work with the bosses has been unbearable. I am looking for a new job when I return and will feel hopeful that my time will be limited at the "hell hole". I am VERY excited that Joshua, Asa and I will be together for 9 whole days. What a treat! We are going to West Virginia to visit my in laws and will staying with them. I plan on meeting a couple of my blogger friends while we are there and will have plenty of pictures and stories to blog about when I get back. I am excited to get a break from Vancouver, but am also going to miss my little family I leave behind. Anxiety is starting to set in but I think that the time will go by fast and we will be back before we know it.

Joshua's 30th birthday was celebrated Tuesday night and one of our fave restaurants, Beaches. Joshua is reserved so when we walked in to a decorated party site, he was kind of embarrassed, but quickly started to enjoy being the man of the hour.
Yummy Tiramisu cake. The picture was supposed to be of just Joshua, but Asa squished in at the last minute. What a picture hog.

Yes, I'm surprised that Joshua could actually make it to his own birthday party.

OK, party is ready to start with the 22 oz. stout in hand.

A mammoth 22 oz. stout. YUM

Asa stole the camera from me and started clicking away. I told you he likes to take pictures of toys.
So funny. I didn't know he was taking these pictures until I downloaded them.
My favorite boys
Valentina always charming. This dress is the cutest one I have ever seen her in. Love it.

The chalkboard in the entry way of the restaurant listing special occasions.

Another Asa picture.

Sissy taking a picture of me taking a picture. I know, we're nerds.

Valentina at my house earlier in the day. She was keeping me company while I was folding laundry.

Asa just being a lounge lizard.
Well, I'm so excited to hang with the family for the next couple of days before we leave on our trip. I'm missing our soccer Saturdays, and it will be a long winter, but there is so much to plan for over the next month. It's sunny day today and Asa and I will be doing our own soccer practice and will hopefully get Valentina out in the sunshine today too. Cheers to a safe weekend!

So glad you are getting away for awhile. You both deserve a break from home and work. Cameo is already missing you but Valentina will keep her busy.
Enjoy every minute because it will go fast.
Prayers for a safe fun trip.
