On our way! Asa and I rode with Sissy, Uncle Norm an d Valentina. Isn't Sissy just beautiful?
I sat in the back so I was child wrangler. Valentina doesn't normally like road trips. She isn't used to them like Asa. She did a great job. She got a little anxious about 30 minutes before getting to Mom's, but she was easily entertained. Here, Asa kept kissing her hand. He would stop and then she would say "more, more".
About 30 minutes out of town, this picture documents that we were going to lose Valentina and quick.

This is a truck with a windmill blade on it. They are strung along the hills near my parents place. I was amazed at how long and big they were.
Saturday morning at Mom's. She made us so much food. It was delicious. The kids loved the piano.
This is an old barn at the end of my parents drive. You can see a deer just chillin' inside. Mom says it's always there.

On the way home Saturday afternoon. Asa sacked out this time.
I was really hoping that Vali would sleep too, so I could nap on the way home. Not a chance. After I would give her a toy, she would be entertained for about 30 seconds and throw it down. Then she would look at me and say "more, more". I would have to find something else to give her. Once, I just threw every stuffed animal she had on her head and she got still and quite. She started playing peek with me.

Goldendale is beautiful. What a great place to go to unwind and breathe some fresh air.
C looks beautiful in that pic, does she always look that hot on a road trip? Maybe I should try to look a little better our next road trip, like actually put on a little makeup and do something with my hair!

That last picture of Vali she is wearing the outfit that I think makes her look like she is ready for Kindergarten. She looks so grown up!

Oh, it all looks like so much fun... and the costume thing.... I think that it is SO FUNNY... I don't have to take him out dressed like that, though... I log in just to see if there are new costume pics... maybe he will be a fashion designer? Wouldn't that be great... he can make clothes for us! lol
